Greystone Farm's two- year-old maiden filly, Classic Statement, ran a smasher to beat a full field of 8 colts and another filly in "an about 6 furlongs" event by five widening lengths in a very rapid 1:12.17, as she ran one of the best two-year-old maiden races of the year. Two Under wins as a three year old
Two Under working at the Barretts May two year old in training sale
The colt, Don't Be Shy Willie, out of Bearlee Naked, is multiple stakes placed, and is Understatement's first black type earner.
The filly, Classic Statement, out of the Canadian Soverign Award finalist Classic Alley Kat, made her debut in a Maiden Special Weight (3 1/2 furlongs) at Hastings Park July 3, 2016. Circled the field to get the show in a great, closing effort.
